Microsoft office 2010 beta version is available as a free download. This is the preview release that Microsoft has made available to the public for free. It will expire on 31 Oct 2010. For more information pls vist :

I'm actually using this now (since yesterday) and it's working great. Very stable though a beta, and visually an improvement over Office 2007 too. Nice stuff. Pity it's going to expire in October... :)
